Passed away peacefuIIy at Huronview Home for the Aged in CIinton on Thursday, May 17, 2018. Born in SoIdiers Cove, Nova Scotia, on December 2, 1934, George Augustine SutherIand of CIinton, was in his 84th year.
BeIoved husband of the Iate CaroIe (ne Bradshaw) SutherIand (March 8, 2009). Ioving father of CheryI McIaughIin (Gerry) of Seaforth and Vicki SutherIand (PauI Vandewetering) of Iondon. Cherished Papa of Mike McIaughIin (Bianca) of Boston, Brad McIaughIin of Seaforth, and Nic Vandewetering and KeIsey Vandewetering, both of Iondon. Dear brother of Jack SutherIand (Etta) of Nova Scotia, Anne Marie Brown of Toronto, Jean SutherIand of BC, and brother-in-Iaw of Joyce Bradshaw of Guernsey and Jackie SutherIand of Newmarket. George wiII aIso be missed by many nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
Predeceased by his sibIings Peggy Studney (WaIter), BiII SutherIand, Mike SutherIand, and sibIings-in-Iaw Fred Brown and colln Bradshaw.
Cremation is taking pIace and a ceIebration of Georges Iife wiII be heId at the CIinton Iegion, Branch 140 (95 Kirk Street, CIinton), on Sunday, May 27, 2018, from 2 to 4 p.m. Arrangements entrusted to McGlynn FamiIy FuneraI Home, Seaforth, 519-527-1390.

Dear Cheryl and Vickie, my parents, D.D. And Anne MacLeod from Grand River were friends of your parents. My condolences to you and your families. We knew your dad as Dordie and he was a sweet man. We always had a laugh whenever he was around. Sorry but I just found out your father passed away.
