I remember Fred from a “few” years ago when I was young. Whether it be through my dad when he worked for the Town of Brussels and Fred came to limb trees. Also at TG&&single&&s shop. He was always happy and smiling from ear to ear. Would stop and chat up a storm. You will be missed, and I&&single&&m glad that I got to meet you. Our deepest sympathy to the entire family. You dad touched a lot of hearts!!

    My condolences to the family.
I first met “Twig” many years ago when we both played men&&single&&s euchre at the Clinton Legion. I never new his real name for a long time. Just call me “Twig” he said the first time we met. He always had a story to tell to lighten the mood. We eventually started meeting for morning coffee, first at Tim Hortons and then later at Stella&&single&&s Burger Bar with a few of the other regulars. Twig usually had a beef about some political issue and we just loved to wind him up even more. I just wish I could have convinced him to turn his Maple Leaf coat for a “Habs” coat. Thanks for being my friend “Twig” I just wish it could have been for a few more years. May you rest in peace.

My Uncle Fred where do I begin. For at least half of my life I knew him as Jigger. I think the first time I heard someone call him Fred I didn&&single&&t know who they where talking to and it wasn&&single&&t long after that he became our beloved Uncle Twig. My younger memories of him are the Uncle who just pops up unexpectedly and was always looking for fun. I remember him showing up at Lake St. Peter where all his nieces to pieces were with his convertible. We made him drive us around the lake with the top down. He always said he loved his nieces to pieces lol.
In the past ten years Uncle Fred and I have spend our share of time together. Especially in the last 5. My sister Judy may she rest in peace was very close to Uncle Fred and because we shared a home together I was lucky by default to have him in my life regularly. I think Judy found away to pass it along when she got sick to make sure he had someone to keep him in line and fight with on a regular basis, and boy did we do that lol. I realized back In 2012 when I came up to help him move that if I survived that I could survive anything he threw at me lol. I quickly found my role in this adventure was to referee between Uncle Fred and his movers and of course entertaining his friends for the rest of the week with tales about how I lost the keys in the dumpster lol. 2 seconds after he told me not to lose them lol.
My Uncle Fred with all his tough and gruff exterior really was a sweet man. I know he didn&&single&&t always show it or share it with the people he should but there was never any doubt the love he had for his sister My Mom may she rest in peace and my Aunt Mary also his sister may she rest In Peace. Whenever they needed him he was there. I never met my Uncle Jordie but I know a family up there will be waiting with open arms to make Uncle Fred&&single&&s final journey a happy
