Bob passed away peacefully at his home with his daughter by his side on Thursday, January 4, 2024 of Seaforth, formerly of Holmesville and Wallaceburg, at the age of 76. Beloved husband of the late Brigitte Charron for over 23 years. Dear step-father of Richard and Trisha Charron of Trois-Rivières, and Nichole Charron and Ryan Macaulay of Seaforth and grandfather of Lauren, and Everest. Predeceased by his parents Archie and Hazel Fraser. Loved by many cousins, nieces and nephews.

Donations to the Canadian Cancer Society would be appreciated by the family.

The Measure of a Man
Not – “How did he die?”
But – “How did he live?”
Not – “What did he gain?”
But – “What did he give?”
These are the units to measure the worth of a man as a man regardless of birth.

Not – “What was his station?”
But – “Had he a heart?”
And – “How did he play his God given part?”
Was he ever ready with a word of good cheer, to bring back a smile and to banish a tear?

Not – “What was his church?”
Nor – “What was his creed?”
But – “Had he befriended those really in need?”
Not – “What did the notice in the newspaper say?”
But – “How many hearts were broken when he passed away?”

Whenever I spoke with Bob, he was always saying how lucky he was to have you and your Mom in his life. Thank you for stepping in and caring for him, Nichole. I know it gave him peace during his illness, just knowing you were there. Sending hugs.

Sorry to read about Bob. He used to stop in the old homestead here and give me his approval on the work we are doing around here.
He liked to chat about the different construction projects the two of us have worked on.
    Rest in Peace Bob
