Unexpectedly, but peacefully at her home, on Thursday, March 13, 2014, we lost the devoted wife of Wayne Ford. Much loved and cherish mother of Cheryl (Phil) Legault of Ingersoll, Kathy (Steve) Whitfield of Grand Bend, and Carolyn (Randy) Parker of Hensall. Much loved grandmother of the grandchildren she held close to her heart: Corey and Tiffany, Tyler and Trevor, Bryan, Brett, and Brittany, and special great grandson Mace. Ruby will be greatly missed by all her family and friends.
Cremation has taken place and a private family service was held.
Donations to the Heart and Stroke Foundation would be appreciated by the family.
So sorry to hear the death of Ruby. Our thoughts and prayers go out to you and your hole family.
Wayne and family….was shocked to read of Ruby’s passing…Words, however kind, can’t mend your heartache, but those who care and share your loss wish you comfort and peace of mind. May you find strength in the love of family and in the warm embrace of friends..

Ruby was a kind, compassionate woman. I first knew her on Brock St. in Hensall…Tinkertown neighbours and then, professionally. I wish her family peace and healing.
Some people come into our lives and make a lasting impression – all the good things that they stood for. That was Ruby for me and I have so many good memories of working alongside with her years ago. She was a great nurse!…kind and compassionate. May the Lord of all comfort bring your family peace in your time of deep loss. Rest in peace Ruby…until we meet again.
Carolyn and family, So sorry to hear about your Mom. I loved working with Ruby at the Villa on Midnights, lots of laughs. My thoughts and prayers are with you and your family.
We are heavy hearted, at the passing of Ruby – may you find comfort and solice in your memories and with each other during this sad and difficult time.
We hope it brings some comfort knowing that you are in our thoughts and we will keep her memory alive through our memories.
