Peacefully at Exeter Villa with family by her side on Saturday, April 21, 2018 of Exeter in her 101st year. Dear mother and mother-in-law of Sheila and the late Cecil Hodgins of Lucan, and Gary and Jan Ford of Burlington. Loving grandmother of Lori, Debbie, Jamie, Jennifer, and Michael. Loving great-grandmother of Jenny, Meghan, Adam, Katie, Michael, Jeremy, Avery, and Lilly, and great, great grandmother of Logan, Jax, Brooklyn, and Mason. Dear sister of Harold Brintnell of Exeter. Almira is also remembered by many nieces and nephews. Predeceased by her parents Alvin and Irene Brintnell, and her siblings James, Madeline, John, Anita, Douglas, Frank and Etta.
Friends may call at the Haskett Funeral Home, 370 William St, Exeter on Wednesday, April 25th from 11:30- 12:30, where the funeral service will be held at 1 PM. Interment Exeter Cemetery.
Donations to Canadian Cancer Society, or Lucan Area Heritage and Donnelly Museum would be appreciated by the family.

Lori, Sheila and the Ford and Hodgins families, I am sadden dearly by the passing of your great grandmother, grandmother and mother, I never did get to meet Almira and what I have come to understand she was an inspiration for all.
Lori told me she was always involved in her social lifestyle at the villa and no one would take that away from her, good for her!!
It is so heart wrenching to lose a love one, sometimes words cannot describe…. but please take solace, in your past visits and hold close to your heart the memories that were shared and the memories that that will never be forgotten.
I will hold deeply in my thoughts for you Lori, the Hodgins and Ford families during this very difficult time.
