FISHER: T. June (Willis) of Exeter and formerly of Zurich

Peacefully, with family by her side at Jessica’s House, Exeter on January 2, 2019 of Exeter and formerly of Zurich at the age of 81.  Loving wife of Bob Fisher for 62 years.  Cherished mother of Donald and Rose Marie Fisher, David Fisher, Carol and Don Stuckless, and Tracy and Rich Lather.  Dear grandmother of Dustin (Kate), Stanton (Emily), Samantha, Sabrina; Tiffany (Jason), Robert (Regina), Krista (Kyle); Teri (Blair), Brad; Jacklyn, Marina and great-grandmother of Jayde, Alec, Sheldon, and Robert.  Dear sister and sister-in-law of Jim (Barb) Willis, Joyce (Doug) Armstrong, Donna (John) Mathers, Ross (Connie) Fisher, and Rick (Anne) Fisher.  Predeceased by her daughter Kimberly June Fisher (2010) and her siblings Dan (Doreen) Willis, Noreen Plumber, Eleanor (Arnie) Fisher, Jean (Jim) Sennett, Marg (Norbert) Wisser.  June was a loving wife, mother, grandmother and great grandmother. She was a seamstress who loved quilting, baking and gardening. She was an avid golfer, loved to fish, and in her younger years she was an above average pitcher and bowler who competed at high levels. June was also a very dedicated Blue Jays fan.

Visitation will be held at the Haskett Funeral Home, 370 William Street, EXETER on Friday evening from 4-8 PM.  The funeral service will be held at St. Peter’s Lutheran Church, 22 Goshen Street, S., ZURICH on Saturday, January 5th at 11 AM with Pastor Nadine Schroeder-Kranz officiating. Spring Interment St. Peters Lutheran Cemetery, Zurich.

    I was so stunned when I read this afternoon of June’s passing. I don’t know how I missed it, but I didn’t notice it under Zurich. So sorry I even missed her funeral today. I feel so badly. Memorial Tree

Each year we hold a tree dedication ceremony at Morrison Dam in Exeter. We purchase a tree to be planted in memory of the lives lost from the previous year.

Our Service Coverage Area

Service AreaWe are always willing to go where called upon but this image shows a visual of the communities that our included in our initial transportation fee. We offer a 40km radius from any of our 5 locations (Arva (London), Exeter, Lucan, Seaforth, and Zurich). Any mileage beyond the included 40km will be charged a rate of $2.50/km (one way travel only).

Potential Additional Transportation Fees

$150 - If transport requires more than one person, additional fee charged per person required
$150 - If transport occurs outside Mon-Fri, 9-5 business hours
