FIRMAN: Linda (Beer) of Hensall

February 29, 2024 By Haskett Funeral Homes 96 Condolences

FIRMAN: Linda (Beer) of Hensall

Passed away unexpectedly at South Huron Hospital on Wednesday, February 28, 2024 of Hensall at the age of 66. Cherished wife of Ken Firman for 34 years. Proud mom of Darren Firman and Lisa Francis. Dear sister and sister-in-law of Betty Vanrooy (Tony), Bryan Beer (Karen), Elizbeth Dunlop (Mike), the late Robert Firman, and Vicki Stewart (Norm). Adored daughter of Lucielle Beer (the late George) and daughter-in-law of Janet Firman (the late Harold). Fondly remembered by many nieces, nephews, great nieces and great nephews.

Linda was a very kind-hearted, and loving person to everyone in her life, including strangers she had never met. Through her challenges, she always remained positive and kept everyone’s spirits high. She will be remembered as a dedicated member of Hensall Community Church, sitting on the board for 15 years, and organizing and preparing bagged lunches to deliver to neighbouring communities. Linda was a strong, independent person, running her own advertising business for 30 years. She was always up for a game of cribbage or a visit on the front porch with someone passing by. She was incredibly creative and artistic, painting beautiful pieces to share with her loved ones.

Visitation will be held at Hensall Community Christian Church, 76 King Street, HENSALL on Monday, March 4th from 1 – 3 PM, where Linda’s memorial service will be held at 3:30 PM. Cremation has taken place. A private family interment will be held in the spring at Hensall Union Cemetery.

Stream Linda’s service live by visiting https://www.facebook.com/HensallUnitedChurch

In lieu of flowers, donations to Parkinson Society, Diabetes Canada, Heart and Stroke Foundation or Hensall United Church would be appreciated by the family.

Dear Beer and Firman families, our hearts go out to you with the loss of Linda. She was one of the best, uplifting and generous friends anyone could have known. Her laugh was infectious and her sense of humour unmatched and will be forever missed. Bless you all during this difficult time, a beautiful soul taken too soon, sincerely Diane & Barry.
