Peacefully at his home with his family by his side on Tuesday, March 28, 2023 of Seaforth at the age of 90. Beloved husband of the late Ruby (Parsons) Finlayson (2018). Cherished father of Sharon Carnochan and Brian Wilson of RR 4 Seaforth, Sue Anne and Ed Van Miltenburg of RR 4 Seaforth, Sandra and Doug Dietz of RR 1 Dublin, and Shelley and Brian McGavin of RR 4 Walton. Fondly remembered by many nieces and nephews. Predeceased by his parents Lorne and E. Irene (Volland) Finlayson, son-in-law Brad Carnochan, grandson, Matthew Carnochan, granddaughters Taylor McGavin, and Hailie Van Miltenburg, and brother Reg Finlayson and his wife Ina.
Visitation will be held at Haskett Funeral Home, 87 Goderich Street West, SEAFORTH on Thursday from 2- 4 and 7 – 9 PM. Registration is appreciated but all are welcome. To register, please click “Register Now” below.
Laird’s funeral service will be held at Egmondville United Church, 26 Kippen Road, Egmondville on Friday, March 31st at 11 AM with Pastor Brian Hymers officiating. Spring interment Maitlandbank Cemetery.
Donations to Huron Hospice, Ronald McDonald House, or Egmondville United Church would be appreciated by the family.
We are always willing to go where called upon but this image shows a visual of the communities that our included in our initial transportation fee.
