Dear father of Wayne and Karen Hodgins of Lucan and Paula Hill of Salmon Arm, BC. Dear grandfather of Melissa, Derek, Brad, Renee, Jackson and Julia; Shawntelle and great-grandfather of Jayden and Olivia. Chubb will be missed by several nieces and nephews. Predeceased by his brothers Wilson, Alfred, Evan, Reginald, Oscar, Arnold and Franklin and sisters Ethel, Mabel and Olive.
Friends may call at the Haskett Funeral Home, 223 Main Street, Lucan on Monday 2-4 and 7-9 PM where the funeral service will be held on Tuesday, April 5, 2011 at 11 AM with The Rev’d Andreas Thiel officiating. Interment St. James Cemetery, Clandeboye.
Donations to South Huron Hospital or the Heart and Stroke Foundation would be appreciated by the family.

The end of an era. He was the last of that generation of the Hodgins brothers and sisters and now moves on to to once again be reunited together. He had a full life that he shared with so many. Many years of my life were spent seeing Uncle Chub in the field, uptown at the mill or sitting talking with everyone at the Hodgins picnics. There are many memories that we can all cherish and keep with us. Our thoughts and prayers are with you all at this time.
