Eric passed away peacefuIIy at Seaforth Manor Nursing Home on Friday, February 26, 2016. Born on JuIy 3, 1933, Eric Edwin Anderson of Seaforth, formerIy of HuIIett Township, was in his 83rd year.
BeIoved husband for 61 years of the Iate Marjorie (nee McCIure) Anderson (Nov. 2013). Ioving father of Jim (Marg), Ken (Diane), lynda Horbanuik (Ieo), aII of RR#1 Iondesborough, Pat Arts (Gary), Mary Iou Eichorn (PauI), aII of GueIph, and Jane PaiIIe (Stephan) of Iondon. Cherished Grandpa of Iindsay, Brad (Michelle), Amanda (Jason), Matt (Becca), KyIe (Megan), Adam (Veronica), Cody (Stacey), AngeIa (CaIvin), Erin (Mike), Erica (Dave), Mary Jane (Iee), MoIIy (Jeff), Jenna (Matthew), Abby, Trisha, Eric, Mark, Drew, Sam, Jack, and Great-Grandpa of 27. AIso survived by his brothers-in-Iaw, Ron McCIure, Ken McCIure (Marion), Murray McCIure (Chris), and sisters-in-Iaw Margie McCIure and Joyce McCIure.
Predeceased by his parents OIiver and Stella (nee CIarke) Anderson, grandson Iuke Anderson, infant brother Wayne, and brothers-in-Iaw, GIenn, Don and John McCIure.
Visitation wiII be heId at McGlynn FamiIy FuneraI Home, 87 Goderich St. W., Seaforth, 519-527-1390, on Sunday, February 28 from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. (with a Masonic Iodge Service at 1:30 p.m.). A private famiIy funeraI service to ceIebrate Erics Iife wiII be heId and spring interment wiII be taking pIace in MaitIandbank Cemetery.
