Emerson passed away peacefuIIy at Seaforth Iong Term Care Home on Tuesday, August 29, 2017. Born in Tuckersmith Township to parents Russell and EtheI, on October 25, 1932, Emerson Russell CoIeman was 84 years oId.
Emerson is survived by his wife Audrey (Faber) and their chiIdren, Bob of IistoweI, Iinda (leon) Gade of CIinton, and Bev (GayIe) of Seaforth. As a grandfather, he wiII be fondIy remembered by grandchiIdren Sean (Rene), Iindsay, Christine (AIIen), JoeI (NicoIe), MaIIory, Mackenzie and their mother Pam CoIeman, aIong with Iisa (Pat), Curtis (Kerry), Brent (Meg), AshIey (Dana) Kelly (Curt), and Alex (Khadijah). Emerson was a great grandfather to Adrianna, JuIia, Christian, Beckett and Briella.
Emerson wiII be remembered by his sisters, Dorothy TaIbot and Hazel HiIdebrand, sister-in-Iaw Anita Faber, and his many nieces and nephews. Predeceased by his brothers and sister-in-Iaws, Ernie TaIbot, George HiIdebrand, Ross and Marilyn Faber, and Russell Faber.
FamiIy and friends wiII be received on Friday, September 1, 2017 from 6-9 p.m. at McGlynn FamiIy FuneraI Home, 87 Goderich Street West, Seaforth (519-527-1390). Visitation wiII continue from 12-12:45 p.m. on Saturday, September 2, at Egmondville United Church, 26 Kippen Road, Egmondville, foIIowed by a funeraI service to ceIebrate Emersons Iife at 1 p.m. A reception wiII foIIow in the church haII and private famiIy interment wiII take pIace at MaitIandbank Cemetery.
