Peacefully at Queensway Long Term Care Home, Hensall on January 25, 2022 of Hensall in her 69th year. Dear sister of Elaine Johnson (Stan) of Grand Bend. Loving aunt of Harold Johnson (Holly) of New Brunswick, Heather Shipway of Dorchester, Tammy Johnson of Grand Bend and Scott Shipway of Woodstock. Missed by many great nephews and a niece. Predeceased by parents Eleanor (McRann) and Harold Emerick, stepdad Stewart Cunningham, and sister Shirley Shipway (George).
Betty always had a smile on her face and loved to help. She enjoyed going for walks and having a coffee, but her favourite thing to do was listen to Elvis. Betty will be missed by all at the Queensway and at Community Living in South Huron.
A private funeral service will be held at the Haskett Funeral Home, 223 Main Street, LUCAN on Saturday, January 29th at 11 AM. Interment St. James Cemetery, Clandeboye.
