Tonight I mentioned the vivid memories I have of standing in the driveway in my pyjamas, on a summer evening, listening to our neighbour play the bagpipes. Another old neighbour mentioned that he’d passed away just last year. I didn’t actually know Roy, but he has left an indelible mark in my memory of warm summer sunsets, and the sound of bagpipes. I’m glad to now know his name. I’m sorry he’s gone. I’m sure his loss is still felt. Sending hugs from your old neighbour on Harold Crt.

A storied life, well lived, your journey complete. Fare thee well dear Uncle. I thoughly enjoyed every phone call with both you and Aunt Shirley which never disappointed. My being musically challenged, your insights into the “pipes” and Keltic music were fascinating. I do believe that your heart never left New Brunswick. Patty and I send our deepest of condolences to Linda, Gary, Gail, Chuck and Family for his loss. We will miss him.
