    To
Bill, Nancy and Brenda and families. I was away on vacation and just heard of Aunt Eileen’s passing. My sincerest sympathy goes to all of you and your families. Your Mom was special to me as she took care of me and Doug when I was young. Your Dad and Mom really enjoyed their visit out west with me and Merry although it had to have been the worst summer weather wise that I can remember.
    Love John and Merry

Bill and Sue and entire family

So Sorry for your loss, It was a privilege to know your Mother and was glad that I had met her and was able to offer a little assistance to her .
She had some wonderful stories to tell and was a pleasure to deal with. Death ends a life but not a relationship, a quote from (Tuesdays with Morrie ) which I find helps me deal with a loss.
Take care of each other and remember the good times that you all had.

Bill & Sue, Nancy & Steve, Brenda & Gord,

When we heard the news of Eileen’s death, both of us were deeply saddened. Eileen and Clarence both were remarkable people and we were so priviledged to have them as neighbours for part of the time that we lived in Lucan. I will always remember the great stories of Eileen’s shopping excursions, among others. All of you are in our prayers as you say your farewells to your Mum. God will give you the strength to move ahead in your grief.

    Blessings,
    Sue & Dave McCullough

I have very fond memories from my childhood of spending time in Lucan with Eileen and Clarence upstairs at the main funeral home for holiday gatherings.

Eileen was always ‘aunt Eileen’ to me, even though she was really Mom’s aunt.

Eileen (and the entire Haskett family for that matter) always extended genuine warmth and caring to everyone she made contact with, and I’d like to think that made an impression during my childhood, of how to treat people around you.

My thoughts are with the Haskett family during this time.

My sincere condolences to your family. Your Mom and Dad were truly special individuals. I first met them when as a little girl I accompanied my grandpa or parents to your place in Lucan from our flower shop (Morrisons) in London. It was lovely to reconnect with them at Rob Freemans’ home as we celebrated his 50th birthday. Ethel, Robs’ mom is Eileens’ cousin and it was so special through the Freeman family to have a chance to recall so many stories from so long ago. My deepest and most sincere sympathy to you all.

    To the Haskett Family:
We never knew your Mom & Grandmother in person. We did know her through the stories Mom (Marjorie Johns) shared over her long association with your family and Funeral Home. Just a year ago now these two ladies were fellow residents at the Exeter Villa and shared many visits during Mom’s brief stay there. We always knew when Eileen Haskett had stopped in to chat. For that we say “thank you” and to you and yours we express our deepest sympathy at this time.

Bill, Just wanted to say I am thinking of you at this challenging time. Your mother and mine are of a similar age and I am sure we have faced similar challenges in their care, and now you are on the receiving end of funeral services as I will no doubt soon be as well. At least you will know your family is getting the best possible care at the funeral home. I miss meeting with you at NSM and OFSA functions. Take care of yourself.
