It is with great sadness that we have learned about Ejgil’s passing. We all thought that he was finally recovering from his illness to enjoy years of happiness with you, but that apparently was not to be.
We remember Ejgil as being good-natured with a big smile and a positive attitude towards others, always ready to help out where needed.
We fully share your sorrow, but little by little, we will all remember not just that Ejgil died, but that he lived and left precious memories.

Our thoughts and deepest sympathies are with you at this time of grief.

Dearest all of you. Just heard the very sad news, and would like to send all my heart and soul to the beautiful people around him. Though it has been many years since I last had the pleasure to spend some wonderful moments with Egjil and the rest of you, the memories are as clear as ever before. I would like to dedicate this poem I wrote some tears back to him, couse he could allways bring a smile to my face:

    Jeg elsker at smile.
Jeg smiler ikke nødvendigvis, fordi jeg er glad.
Men når jeg smiler, får jeg ti smil tilbage.
Og det er de smil, der gør min dag gladere.

    Tak Egjil…

    To My God Father

If i could bring you back again,
For one more hour or day,
