To Laura’s family: I want you to know how much I enjoyed your Mothers company, well your Dad’s too. I did not know them until later in life, and through Egmondville UC, I got to visit several times. Both at their home and in the Manor. Maybe because I had a farm background, not sure but we did have lots to talk about. They left a high impression on me. I will always remember how they helped to shape my life. God Bless you and try to keep a little of them in yourselves.

Dear Susanne and family, my sincere sympathy for the loss of your mom. I remember the first time I ever had stuffed peppers was when your mom made them. They were delicious. Your parents were always very welcoming anytime I stopped in at the cottage to visit.

I would like to express my sympathy to Laura’s family. Norman and my husband Edward were first cousins and we used to visit each other quite often when they lived on the farm near us. We always enjoyed our visits and had a good time. Laura was a gracious hostess and a lovely lady and I am sure you will miss her very much.

Very sad to learn of Laura’s passing. When I saw her at the Manor, she might be sitting outside
with her sister, enjoying the day, or in their rooms, doing puzzles. Laura was a lovely lady.
