At the Exeter Villa, on Sunday, December 20, 2015, in his 93rd year. Beloved husband of Donna (Chittick) Eaton, and the late Rita (Gallagher) Eaton (1980). Dear father of Ray and Gail Eaton of Thamesford, and Rita Van Leeuwen of London; and step-father of David and Shelly Thornton of Squamish BC, Karen and Scott James of Sarnia, Jacqueline and Glenn Cassell of Regina, and Nancy Thornton of Paisley. Dear grandfather of 11 grandchildren and 14 great-grandchildren. Dear brother and brother-in-law of Irene and Dan Connolly of Mitchell, and Helen and Don Dygert of Alberta. Predeceased by his son-in-law Richard Van Leeuwen, sisters Doris, Ivy, and Marion, and brothers Harold, Jack, and George.
Friends may call at the Haskett Funeral Home, 370 William Street, Exeter (1 street west of Main), on Tuesday evening 7-9 PM. The funeral service will be held at Emmanuel Baptist Church, 40007 Kirkton Road, Exeter (corner of Highway #4 and Kirkton Road) on Wednesday, December 23rd at 11 AM with Pastor Scott Stein officiating. Interment St. Peter’s Cemetery, London on Wednesday at 2 PM.
