Aunt Norma, and all my very dear cousins,
I feel so saddened by the loss of Uncle Doug. I too always remember him with a kind smile and a welcoming heart whenever we came to visit. I feel so blessed to have had the last short visit with Doug and all of you back in June. I have amazing memories with all of you. I wish we lived closer to you aunt Norma, i have always loved my visits and funny stories you always tell. You are the final ties to my Mom. Please take care of one and other. Love Tracy and Darryl
    Rest in Peace Uncle Doug.

Norma & family: So sorry to hear of Doug’s passing. Thanks for posting the video clip. It was great to see Doug with Grandpa Will and the pictures of the family. You will miss him, but will have lots of fond memories. I remember being in Ontario when you were celebrating your 40th anniversay and was lucky enough to attend and renew family ties. You have been blessed with a wonderful family.

A father is like the air in spring,
He refreshes your soul and makes it sing.
A smile, a wink or a shake of his head
Soft words spoken, sometimes nothing said.

A man who made your fears go away
Someone to lean on when you cried,
He knew exactly what to say
His heart so full of love and pride.

    He’ll never leave you
    He’ll always be there,
    Remember him fondly
    Like the fresh spring air.
