Suddenly, at his residence on Monday, September 20, 2004 Douglas Eckenswiller of Exeter in his 66th year.  Beloved husband of Ruth (Smart) Eckenswiller.  Dear father of Marti and Doug Butler of Lucan.  Dear grandfather of Kristina, Nathan, Nicoline and Victoria Butler.  Dear brother-in-law of David and Donald Smart.  Predeceased by his parents Levi (1979) and Mary (1992) Eckenswiller.  Friends may call at the Hopper Hockey Funeral Home, 370 William Street, 1 west of Main, Exeter on Tuesday evening 7-9 PM where the funeral service will be held on Wednesday, September 22 at 11 AM with Rev. Steve Welhelm officiating.  Interment Exeter Cemetery.  Donations to Asia Span International would be appreciated by the family.
