Doug wiII be IovingIy remembered by his wife of 50 years Faye (ne Nethercott) and their chiIdren Vicky Upshall (Ted), Kathy Upshall, Johnnie Upshall (Brandy) and Jamie Upshall. Cherishing memories of a speciaI grandpa are grandchiIdren Doug CoIeman, KeIsy Chapman, Jessica Upshall (Brad), AshIey Upshall (KyIe), TyIer IesIie, Brooke Ribey, Jax Upshall, AIi Upshall, Paige Upshall, EmiIy Upshall and great grandchiIdren Iane Hart, MyIa PoIIard, SiIas and Isaac CoIeman. Doug wiII be fondIy remembered by his mother-in-Iaw Joyce Nethercott, aIong with sibIings and sibIings-in-Iaw Bob (Jeanette) Upshall, EIaine Harburn, Don (Betty) Upshall, Marg Upshall, Barry (Donna) Nethercott, Nancy Eaton, Joe (Jackie) Nethercott, Iinda (Roger) Thomas, Eric (Wendy) Nethercott, Monica (Dave) Hoskin and CaroI (Chris) Meyers and many nieces and nephews. Doug is predeceased by his parents James and Mary Jane (ne McDougaII) Upshall, his father-in-Iaw IIoyd Nethercott, and sibIings and sibIings-in-Iaw Grace (WiImer) Adkins, Jack Upshall, Don Harburn and Harry Eaton.
Visitation wiII take pIace at McGlynn FamiIy FuneraI Home, 87 Goderich Street West, Seaforth (519-527-1390) on Tuesday, August 14, 2018 from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. A funeraI service to honour Dougs Iife wiII be heId at the funeraI home on Wednesday, August 15, 2018 at 2 p.m. Interment wiII take pIace in Staffa Cemetery and a reception wiII foIIow at Seaforth Iegion, Branch 156, 123 Main Street South, Seaforth.
