At South Huron Hospital, Exeter on July 7, 2014, on his 84th birthday, of Exeter. Beloved husband of Fern (Sawyer) Dougall. Dear father of Carol Dougall and Kirk Iredale of Exeter, Dick Dougall and Paula Etherden of RR 1 Hensall, Jayne Dougall and Mark Bertling of Barrie, Greg Dougall and Judy Flegel of Arva, and Paul and Cheryl Walker of Windsor. Dear grandfather of Virginia and Stirling Iredale; Zachary and Katie, Jace and Taryn Dougall; Jeremy and Sam Bertling; Rebecca and Ryan Dougall; and Terryn Walker. Dear brother and brother-in-law of Harry and Marian Dougall, and Andy and Marion Dougall all of Exeter, and Jack Coates of Centralia; Walter and Marian MacDougald of Stratford, and Tom and Nancy Sawyer of Freelton. Predeceased by his sister Margaret Coates, sister-in-law Lois Hodgins and her husband Harvey.
Friends are invited to call at the Exeter United Church, 42 James Street, Exeter on Wednesday evening 6:30 – 9:00 PM, and again on Thursday afternoon from 1:30 PM – 3:00 PM, prior to the Celebration of Life service, which will be held on Thursday, July 10th at 3:00 PM at the Exeter United Church. Interment Exeter Cemetery.
Donations to the South Huron Hospital, Canadian Cancer Society or the charity of your choice would be appreciated by the family.

I am so sorry for your loss. No other words can accurately explain the pain I feel for you. I apologize that I cannot be with you during visitations and the funeral. However, I know you will be surrounded with family and close friends.

Bill was an interesting, gentle, pleasant, easy to be with man. We all liked him very much and will miss him as patriarch of our extended cottage family.
