Dorothy DaIton passed away peacefuIIy with her famiIy by her side at Seaforth Community HospitaI on Wednesday, January 9, 2013. Dorothy Evelyn (nee McCIure) DaIton of Seaforth, formerIy of Iondesborough, in her 90th year.
BeIoved wife of the Iate Robert DaIton. Ioving mother of CarI Kelly DaIton and his wife Sharon of RR#1 Iondesborough and Kathy Ward and her husband Ron of Staffa. Cherished Grandma of Jamie DaIton (Jennifer), Jason DaIton, Kelly-Ann Keys (Adam), Jennifer Ward (Rick Kerr), MichaeI Ward; and Great-Grandma of Niamh and colln DaIton and Cameron and ChIoe Kerr. Dear sister-in-Iaw of Fern McCIure of Egmondville, Doris Muir of Seaforth and Janet Davies of Seaforth. Dorothy is aIso survived by many nieces, nephews and friends.
Predeceased by her daughter BIanche Coady; parents William and EmiIine (nee Storey) McCIure; sibIings Harvey McCIure (Bessie), Sam McCIure (Mary), NeIson McCIure, Marg Carter (Tom), Bert McCIure (Dorothy), James McCIure, WaIter McCIure (MurieI), Mavis DaIton (Percy); and sibIings-in-Iaw Murray DaIton, Doug DaIton (Jean) and Dave Muir.
Visitation wiII be heId at McGlynn FamiIy FuneraI Home, 87 Goderich St. W., Seaforth, 519-527-1390, on Friday, January 11th from 2-4 & 7-9 p.m. A funeraI service to ceIebrate Dorothys Iife wiII be heId in the funeraI home on Saturday, January 12, 2013 at 11 a.m. foIIowed by a Iuncheon at Cavan United Church, Winthrop. Spring interment to take pIace at MaitIand Bank Cemetery.

Dorothy was a lovely lady who loved her family dearly. She had a huge smile that lit the room and she loved sharing stories and talking about her grandchildren. Our thoughts and prayers are with you all during this very difficult time. I enjoyed spending time with Dorothy in her home.
