Peacefully at her residence on Friday, October 26, 2012, of Exeter and formerly of Kippen in her 100th year. Beloved wife of the late William J. F. Bell (1986). Dear mother of Donald Bell of Exeter, Jack Bell of St. Joseph’s, Elaine Ford of Exeter and Alice Bell of Nova Scotia. Loving grandmother of Vicky and Roger Morrison, Pamela and Dennis Loughnane, Sandra and Jeff Henderson, Jackie and Steve Jones; Deborah and Larry Clarke, Karen and Mark Tuckey and Randy and Alicia Ford. She will be sadly missed by her 17 great-grandchildren and 1 great-great-grandchild. Predeceased by her daughter-in-law Tove Bell (1998), sisters Hilda Taylor, Elsie Wescott and Mildred Foster and brother Bill Robins.
Friends may call at the Haskett Funeral Home, 370 William Street, 1 west of Main, Exeter on Monday 2-4 and 7-9 PM. The funeral service will be held at Haskett Funeral Home, 370 William Street, Exeter (1 street west of Main) on Tuesday, October 30, 2012 at 11:15 AM with Colin Snyder officiating. PLEASE NOTE CHANGE OF VENUE DUE TO POWER OUTAGE.
Interment Bairds Cemetery, Stanley Township.
There will be an Eastern Star Service in the funeral home Monday evening at 6:30 PM.
Donations to Heart and Stroke Foundation or the charity of your choice would be appreciated by the family.

It is with sadness I heard of Dorothy’s passing. What a wonderful life she had. I will always remember her help when I was a new member to Exeter Chapter OES. She kept me on the straight and narrow for sure!
She will be missed.
