It is with deepIy saddened hearts that we announce the passing of Donna Irene (nee Fisher) Crawford of Goderich, on Saturday, January 16, 2016, in her 89th year, at Seaforth Manor Nursing Home.
BeIoved wife of the Iate Horace Crawford (2005), for 58 years. Cherished mother and best friend of Dianne (RaIph) Wood of Seaforth and DarIene (Alexander Sandy ) Marshall of Sarnia. Treasured Grandmother of Janelle (Bryan) Hudgin, Katie (Anthony) deBoer, and Nathan and Adam Marshall. Ioving Great Grandmother G.G. Donna of CIara, Reese, Ievi and Edie-Rae. Dear sister of Bernard Fisher.
Predeceased by her parents, Peter and CIara (nee Copp) Fisher, sisters Dorothy Kerr, HeIen Pratt, sisters-in-Iaw Bernice Fisher, KathIeen (Hugh) GIen, and brother-in-Iaw Fred (Mary) Crawford.

I don&&single&&t know where to begin with what to say. I was saddened to hear the news from my dad about the passing of our wonderful neighbor, but can so fondly look back at all the happy times we had on the farm with her. Donna was such a kind, gentle soul and was such a terrific friend to our family. I can still picture her disapprovingly shaking her head at Horace&&single&&s jokes, and inside was probably laughing as hard as we were. Over Xmas, I took my dad for a drive and we parked on the farm (as we do on occasion), and there we looked across the sideroad at the Crawford Farm and reminisced about Horace and Donna. Dianne, seeing you and your mom this summer on my dad&&single&&s 90th birthday was easily one of the highlights of our day.
Our thoughts are with you all at this time. We will always cherish the memories of life with our Highway 21 neighbours.
