This, brings back a flood of great, childhood memories of being neighbors of the Dietz family from climbing over burlap bags of feed in the quonset building and playing “operation” in the house as a small boy to buying seed and spray from Bob and Uncle Milty, as I often referred to him.

One of my favourite memories was singing with Milton in the church choir. As afraid as I was, Milt made it easier by being very supportive and kind. We always had a laugh and many a great conversation.

Egmondville Church is a church family that welcomed Bev and I with open arms in 1985. We have been blessed to share many fond memories of experiences that we were a part of with the both of you.
You made us feel at home and that we belonged. Milt was loved and will be missed. Sending lots of love and big hugs to you Wanda, and your dear family. Bev and Gayle Coleman

Paul and i were very sorry to hear of Milton’s death. Milton and Wanda were the best of neighbours, while we lived on the farm . Shared the news of Milton’s death with our daughter, Cara. She recalled Wanda driving she and her brother to school the odd time, if they missed the bus. I also recall Wanda driving me up the Mill Road from their farm to the end of our lane way during several winter storms. Paul recalls how helpful Milton was in helping him to tame the weeds that had overtaken our field.
