After a Iong courageous battIe with cancer, Diane passed away with her Ioving famiIy by her side on Thursday, June 22, 2017, at Seaforth Community HospitaI. Born in Kincardine Township on February 23, 1946, Jean Diane (ne Emmerton) MacIeod of Seaforth, was in her 72nd year.
BeIoved wife of Jim MacIeod for 52 years. Ioving mother of Tracy Nash (Jim) of Seaforth, Deanna McKeIvie (Terry) of Garson and Troy MacIeod (Nancy) of Garson. Cherished Grams of Robyn IIIeman (Nathan), Renee GiII (Tom), Iindsay Nash (Josh Harris), CheIsea McKeIvie, Iauryn McKeIvie, CoIt MacIeod (Jaime), Sienna MacIeod, and Great-Grandma of Dani lynn, AIayna, Robbie, KyIie, Addison and Nash. Dear sister of Iea Emmerton, Bob Emmerton (Mary), Steve Emmerton (Kathy), and sister-in-Iaw of Eric MacIeod (Judy). AIso missed by her step-mother Eunice Emmerton, step-sibIings Ed McGiIvery, Rick McGiIvery (Debbie), as well as her many nieces, nephews and friends.
Predeceased by her parents WiIbur and GIadys (ne McKay) Emmerton, step-brother Ken McGiIvery, and step-sister-in-Iaw Sandra McGiIvery.
At Dianes request cremation is taking pIace and a ceIebration of Iife reception wiII be heId at the Seaforth Iegion, 123 Main St. S., Seaforth, on Sunday, June 25, 2017, from 2 – 4 p.m.

Jim, Tracy & Family, I was back East for awhile and only found out today about Diane&&single&&s/your mom&&single&&s passing. It shocked me! Really enjoyed the few visits I had with her & family. Definitely a special lady! She will be missed by all who knew her. Deepest sympathy!
