Wendy, Melissa, Kurt and I are grateful to John for being a big help out on the farm . He was a good friend of my dad Tom and he and I grew to know each other quite well. He definitely broke a lot of things around the farm but like I’ve been told before” if you’re not breaking things, you’re not working “. He was a very kind man and he loved to talk to people and share his stories and was genuinely interested in listening to others. I will miss talking with John and all of his conversations starting with “I don’t know Kent……”
RIP John and condolences to the whole family.

    To my Dewan cousins,
I was so sorry to hear of your brother’s passing. I know this must be a difficult time for you all, made even more difficult by the strictures of the pandemic. I want you to know that my thoughts are with you all. Over the years the opportunities for us to get together have been infrequent, limited to occasions such as weddings and funerals, and I remember Johnny as often the heartiest and warmest man in the room. He would always make time to talk with me and make me feel welcome, telling stories and helping me put names to faces. I remember him fondly, and I wish peace to you all.
