It is with great sadness we announce the peaceful passing of Dale Deakin at McGarrell Place, London at the age of 81. Cherished father of Blair Deakin, and the late Jamie Deakin. Much loved grandfather of Kyrah. Dear brother of Stan Deakin, and Heather Hoddinott and uncle of Laura Deakin, Muriel Brackstone, Claire Vowles, and Donald Hoddinott.
Born and raised in Nepean, Dale graduated from Carlton University and enjoyed a rewarding career in computer sciences. Our heartfelt thanks go out to the staff of McGarrell Place for their wonderful care and compassion.
Cremation has taken place, a celebration of Dale’s life will take place at a later date. Arrangements entrusted to Haskett Funeral Home, Lucan (519-227-4211).
In lieu of flowers, donations to Alzheimer Society would be appreciated by the family.
