Peacefully at South Huron Hospital, Exeter on Monday, August 20, 2018 of Exeter in her 71st year. Loving and devoted wife of Craig Davidson for 50 years. Cherished mother of Karl Davidson, and Karla and Matt Simpson. Adored Ammie of Declan, Myer, and Nolan. Dear sister-in-law of Ken Thiel. Carol will be missed by her nieces and nephews, Kelly and Jordan Jeffery, Dana Thiel and Jordan, and Jeff and Erin Thiel. Predeceased by her parents Ervin and Marj Reichert, and sister Donna Thiel.
Cremation has taken place. Arrangements entrusted to Haskett Funeral Home, Exeter (519-235-1220).
Donations to the Heart and Stroke Foundation or the Canadian Cancer Society would be appreciated by the family.
We are always willing to go where called upon but this image shows a visual of the communities that our included in our initial transportation fee. I met carol 25 yrs ago when her daughter Kara sent her to my shop. We hit it off immediately.
I liked her right away probably because she laughed at all my jokes . She laughed a lot which made me laugh a lot. I have cut her hair for 25 years every 4 weeks and the saying your hair stylist knows everything is true… so I want you to know she loved each and everyone of you. We shared stories of our children, husbands and grand babies.she brought me in business with her short sassy hair and always let me know when someone ask her where she got it done . Carol (and Craig) were great babysitters and I have many fond memories about them and being with them. From Thrills gum to drying apple slices on the counter to eating sardines to ketchup and bologna sandwiches to Nan’s icicle pickles to riding my pedal 3wheeler in their driveway to feeding the baby birds under their raised deck and Carol taking me to Clinton to watch the horses go around the track at Nan and Poppis – life was great at the Davidson’s.
