Peacefully surrounded by her family at Huron Hospice, Clinton on Saturday, December 3, 2022 of Seaforth at the age of 67. Beloved wife of Larry for over 30 years. Proud mother of Charlotte Cooper (Chris Greig) of Clinton, and Christy Laycox of Clinton. Loving Nana of Elissa (Jeremy), Michael, Haylie, Cameron, Kolbie, and Liam; Joshua (Summer); Miah, Norah, Cohen, Caleb, Serenity, and Mason. Remembered by her mother Sheila Brooker. Dear sister Carol Boyd (Kevin Kelly), Bill Brooker, Tony Benneweis (Joe Carroll), Randy Brooker (Shirley McNall Brooker), and Debbie Brooker vonEuw (Ron). Missed by the Coyne family. several nieces and nephews. Predeceased by her father Wilmont “Bill” Brooker, sisters Brenda Brooker-Boyd and Dorothy Brooker Richardson, and infant brother Timothy Brooker.
Over the last 14 years Ann cared for many children in the Seaforth area, she became their special Nana. She has truly touched the lives of not only the children but their families. Ann will live on in the hearts of all her children.
Nana’s Funeral Mass will be held at St. James Catholic Church, 22 Victoria Street, Seaforth on Tuesday, December 6th at 1 PM with visitation from 9:30 to 12:30PM. Registration for visitation is required and appreciated. Please click “Register Now” below to register. Interment St. Columban Cemetery. Registration is not required to attend Mass.
Thank you to all the nurses and the staff at Huron Hospice for their compassion and care of Ann during her final days. Donations to Huron Hospice would be appreciated by the family.
