Doug was such a friendly, outgoing person my memories of Doug started when quite young, bugging everyone at the dairy daily to the point of certain people (no names!) upended me into the chocolate syrup!! and sent me home to mother Jean!!
Then as a young man working at the dairy with my own ‘milkman’ delivery route.
Doug’s work ethic was in part responsible for my own work ethic moving forward in my life….work hard, play hard, enjoy your family, friends and help your community.
Carole & family my deepest condolences and may your memories bring you comfort in the days, years ahead.

Our extended community has lost a great guy. Doug was always up for a good tease and a laugh. I have many memories of meeting Doug & Carole, and the United Church lunch crew at May’s Diner when there with my Lutheran lunch crew. We’d often tease about whether it was the Lutherans or Uniteds paying the tab!
