Dearest Cousins,
Auntie Kay was a huge part of our lives for many years. Most every gathering at Gramma and Grampa’s on a Saturday or Sunday she would be there. She was always so happy to be there and always had a beautiful smile and a sparkle in her eye. She was a regular at the family dinners, and if there was an occasion she wasn’t there, she was missed. (We would all ask upon our arrivals” is Auntie Kay coming?”..)
I know having her there made Gramma and Grampa happy too. She was good company for them . She always asked how we were doing, how our work was etc. She was a real Gem and we were blessed to have had such a wonderful Auntie in our lives…Many many memories that we will forever hold in our hearts. Sending hearfelt condolences and warm hugs to all of you.xo
Rest in Peace Auntie Kay. ❤️

To the Cooper Family – Please accept our very deepest sympathy at your loss. I remember Kay because she lived next to our grandmother, Lillian Blair. We would see Kay when we visited with grandma, especially in the spring, summer and autumn months,. She would be outside sweeping, doing some garden work, hanging out clothing or gathering them, supervising one or more of the children, or visiting with grandma. She was a wonderful neighbour and friend. She would always chat with us grandchildren. We missed seeing her after my grandmother passed . She has left a wonderful legacy for her family. God Bless .

As another chapter closes on the McNichol story, we have the most precious memories to cling to. What a sweet lady Auntie Kay was. Her smile, her kindness, just a dear sweet woman. Just imagine the reunion they are all having. As Judy said, the music, the step dancing, the fun and laughter and of course that amazing McNichol spread of food. Those were great times. Auntie was such in important part of all that. A matriarch has passed. We all loved her. As ever, whether near or apart, your cousin Judy (Jory) & Dan Hayward
