CONSITT: William Russell of RR 1 Zurich

William Russell Consitt, 77, of R.R. 1 Zurich, passed away suddenly on Wednesday, January 15, 2014, at South Huron Hospital, Exeter. Beloved husband of Marjorie (Dowson) Consitt. Dear son-in-law of Hazel and the late Cecil Dowson. Dear father of Dianne and Dale Peck of R.R. 1 Varna, Dave and Kelli Consitt of Port Albert and Julie Consitt and Dave Pipher of Clinton. Loving grandfather of Dan and Linda Peck, Tammy Peck and John Longe; Mitchell Consitt; Jake Consitt and great grandfather of Madisyn Peck. Dear brother and brother-in-law of Nancy and Charles Becker, John and Helen Consitt, Jim and Marion Consitt, Barbara Consitt, Ken Caldwell, Judy Dowson and Phil White. Sadly missed by his aunts Helen Turner and Jeannette Turner and his nieces and nephews. Predeceased by his parents Russell and Eileen (Turner) Consitt, one brother Thomas and sisters-in-law Coreen Caldwell and Sharon White and brother-in-law Doug Dowson.

Visitation in the J. M. McBeath funeral Home, 49 Goshen St. N., Zurich on Friday from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. The funeral service will be conducted on Saturday, January 18, 2014 at 2 p.m. in the Brucefield Community United Church.

Memorial contributions may be made to the Heart and Stroke Foundation, Brucefield Community United Church, Alexandra Marine and General Hospital, Goderich or a charity of one’s choice.

Memorial Tree

Each year we hold a tree dedication ceremony at Morrison Dam in Exeter. We purchase a tree to be planted in memory of the lives lost from the previous year.

Our Service Coverage Area

Service AreaWe are always willing to go where called upon but this image shows a visual of the communities that our included in our initial transportation fee. We offer a 40km radius from any of our 5 locations (Arva (London), Exeter, Lucan, Seaforth, and Zurich). Any mileage beyond the included 40km will be charged a rate of $2.50/km (one way travel only).

Potential Additional Transportation Fees

$150 - If transport requires more than one person, additional fee charged per person required
$150 - If transport occurs outside Mon-Fri, 9-5 business hours
