CONSITT: Marjorie (Dowson) of Goderich and formerly of Stanley Township

Peacefully at Alexandra Marine & General Hospital, Goderich on Thursday, July 30, 2020 of Goderich and formerly of Stanley Township in her 84th year.  Dear wife of the late William Russell Consitt (2014).  Loving mother of Dianne and Dale Peck of RR 1 Varna, David Consitt and his friend Tammy Rea of Port Albert, Julie Consitt and Dave Pipher of Clinton.  Cherished grandmother of Dan and Linda Peck, Tammy and John Longe; Mitchell Consitt; and Jake Consitt.  Dear great-grandmother of Madisyn, Jeremy, and Grayson.  Dear sister-in-law of Ken Caldwell, Judy Dowson, Phil White, Barb Consitt, Helen Consitt, Jim and Marion Consitt, and Chuck and Nancy Becker.  Fondly remembered by Kelli Schroeder Consitt, dear cousin Bill Dowson, and many nieces and nephews.   Predeceased by her parents Hazel (Hayter) and Cecil Dowson, siblings Coreen Caldwell, Doug Dowson, and Sharon White and in-laws Tom Consitt and John Consitt.   

Visitation will be held at the Haskett Funeral Home, 49 Goshen Street N, ZURICH on Tuesday, August 4 from 2-4 and 7-9 PM. Due to Provincial COVID-19 restrictions, each person must RSVP with a time to attend the visitation. Please click “Register Now” below to register. Each person coming into the funeral home must wear a mask. A private family funeral service will be held at the Brucefield United Church with Rev. Memorial Tree

Each year we hold a tree dedication ceremony at Morrison Dam in Exeter. We purchase a tree to be planted in memory of the lives lost from the previous year.

Our Service Coverage Area

Service AreaWe are always willing to go where called upon but this image shows a visual of the communities that our included in our initial transportation fee. We offer a 40km radius from any of our 5 locations (Arva (London), Exeter, Lucan, Seaforth, and Zurich). Any mileage beyond the included 40km will be charged a rate of $2.50/km (one way travel only).

Potential Additional Transportation Fees

$150 - If transport requires more than one person, additional fee charged per person required
$150 - If transport occurs outside Mon-Fri, 9-5 business hours
