Peacefully with family by his side at Huron Hospice, Clinton on Monday, March 25, 2024, of Seaforth in his 80th year. John will forever remain in our hearts and be remembered as the loving husband of Susan (Charters), cherished father of Nathan, Vanessa (Darryl) and Michael (Nicole), proud grandfather of Heidi, and dear brother to Nancy.
Rarely without a pen, brush or utensil in hand, John spent much of his time drawing, painting, and cooking. In these, he found his peace and joy. He was modest in his talents and a source of pride to his family.
John was a kind and thoughtful man with a sense of humour that was all his own. He was a quiet strength who saw beauty in nature and wonder in imagination.
Following John’s wishes, cremation has taken place. Haskett Funeral Home, SEAFORTH entrusted with arrangements.
Donations to the Canadian Cancer Society or Huron Hospice would be appreciated by the family.
Our condolences to Susan and the family. In times spent with John, we found him to be a true gentleman. He will certainly be missed.

Sending Love and prayers to Susan and Mike. Living next door to such beautiful loving people really made growing up on Cardiff crt special. John was a great man and you could tell by the way he carried himself and the way he spoke. My parents loved you guys sooo much. They always said there will be no neighbors like the Conners.
