Passed away peacefully, surrounded by her loving family at University Hospital, London on March 22, 2018 at the age of 76. Beloved wife of Larry Clarke of London. Loving mother of Brenda (Dave) Erb of Dashwood, Karen Brand of London, Pauline (Ed) Monden of Brodhagen, Irene (Morris) Van De Walle of St. Marys, Mona(Graham) Hennigar of Nova Scotia, Brian (Jen) Brand of St. Marys, and Julia (Darrin) Reid of Nova Scotia. Step-mother of Randy (Kim) Clarke of Montreal, Rob (Helen) Clarke of Brantford, and Kevin (Beverly) Clarke of Kitchener. Cherished grandmother of 14 grandchildren, 5 great grandchildren and 9 step-grandchildren. Dear sister and sister in-law of John Veninga, Reino (Gerrit) Wilts, Sue Ann (Wayne) Van Oostveen, Ettie (Greg) Ramsay, Pat (Peter) Pryde, Marion McKenzie, Sandra (Darrel) Scase, Corrie (Martin) Fischer, Hans (Nancy) Brand, Bert (Renie) Brand, Jim (Theresa) Brand, Art Brand, Tina Brand and families. Predeceased by her husband Simon Brand (1981), her parents Gerben and Anna Wynja, her sister Hessie Veninga, sisters in-law Sheila Clarke and Betty Brand, and brothers in-law Jim McKenzie, Robert and Henk Brand.
As per Rennie’s wishes, cremation has taken place. A private family service will be held. Arrangements entrusted to Haskett Funeral Home, Exeter (519-235-1220).
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made in her honour to the Canadian Cancer Society.
We are always willing to go where called upon but this image shows a visual of the communities that our included in our initial transportation fee. We offer a 40km radius from any of our 5 locations (Arva (London), Exeter, Lucan, Seaforth, and Zurich). Any mileage beyond the included 40km will be charged a rate of $2.50/km (one way travel only).
