Suddenly, but peacefully, at home with her loving and devoted husband by her side on Monday, August 12, 2019 in her 71st year. Dear wife of Byron Clarke of 47 years. Cherished mother and grandmother of Greg and Kelly Clarke (Aislinn, Seamus, Seanesy, Aiveen, and Sullivan) of Crediton, Liette and Jeff Clarke-Burton (Brette) of Crediton, Lisa and Bill McLinchey (Tyler, Brayden, and Macy) of Plattsville. Dear daughter-in-law of Donna Clarke of Exeter. Dear sister and sister-in-law of Bill and Marilyn Bannister, Albert Bannister, and Marion and Joe Duncan, Barry Clarke, Lanna and Mike O’Leary, Wendy and Ross Long, Marsha Clarke and Dale McLeod. Fondly remembered by several nieces and nephews. Predeceased by her parents Art and Lillian Bannister, infant brother Douglas, brother Gordon, sisters-in-law Audrey, and Mary, and father-in-law Ross Clarke.
Visitation will be held at Haskett Funeral Home, 223 Main Street, LUCAN on Thursday from 2-4 and 7-9 PM. The funeral service will be held at the Lucan Community Memorial Centre, 263 Main Street, Lucan on Friday, August 16th at 11 AM. Interment Poplar Hill Cemetery.
Donations to the Heart and Stroke Foundation, Kidney Foundation or a charity of your choice would be appreciated by the family.
