Posted By Haskett Funeral Homes On August 10, 2021 @ 11:08 AM In Exeter,Obituary | 32 Comments
With heavy hearts, the family of Art Clarke, announce his passing on August 8, 2021. He leaves Brent (Lori), Lynn (Joe) Webb, and Barb Down to carry on here while he joins his beloved wife, Betty (2020) and son, Brian (2018). He is also survived by grandchildren: Jason, Brianne, Justine, Janelle, Jillian, Jaimee, Jessica, Grant and Melissa and 9 great grandchildren.
Art was a Shell Oil distributor in Exeter for many years and many would remember seeing the big yellow truck driving in the area. He loved woodworking and tinkering in his garage. Art and Betty made Anne Street their home where they raised their family and made lifelong friendships. He was also involved with the Kinsmen, the Exeter Rodeo and was a founding member of the Exeter Curling Club.
A private family graveside service will be held at a later date. Donations to the Brain Tumour Foundation or charity of your choice would be appreciated by the family.
