I was so sad to see this. I have so many fond memories of “growing up” in your home with Melanie. Martin had that sharp, dry wit about him! I enjoyed meeting Jan and Martin at our Canadian Tire meet up place every so often, as I had the pleasure of running into them there. It was nice to get an update on how the family and little ones were doing. I felt so happy to hang out and catch up during family celebrations such as birthdays and christenings. My father passed on the heartbreaking news about Martin. I am so sorry. When I was a kid, he was one of my favourite cousins. Always so kind and patient with us younger ones. I also remember loving his wry smile. In recent years, geography separated us but I know Martin always kept in touch through my mom and dad. A lovely human being if ever there was one. My sincerest condolences to Jan, Anne and the rest of the family.
