CHARRON: Brigitte (Herrmann) of Seaforth
Posted By Haskett Funeral Homes On October 2, 2022 @ 4:15 PM In Obituary,Seaforth | 12 Comments
Suddenly and with great sadness the family announces Brigitte’s passing on Friday, September 30, 2022, at the age of 68. Cherished wife of Robert “Bob” Fraser and the late Harvey Charron (1997). Proud mom of Nichole Charron, and Richard and Trisha Charron. Loving grandma of Lauren, and Everest Charron. Predeceased by her parents Otto and Ruth Herrmann, and her step-mom Joan (Shaw) Herrmann.
Brigitte was born in 1954 in Waiblingen, Germany and came to Ontario with her parents in 1957 when she was just 3 years old. Her parents opened a mechanic business in Wallaceburg, Ontario where Brigitte was raised and worked hard through her childhood to help with her parents business. Brigitte married at the age of 18 and moved to Goderich with her husband where her family life began and her children were born. She was a loving, loyal wife and dedicated mother until 1997 when her husband passed away. Time and hard work brought her into the next chapter of her life with her husband Robert in 2000. Robert and Brigitte were inseparable over the years. They loved, they laughed, they worked hard and they were the best role models for their daughter Nichole. Brigitte was there for all of Robert’s cancer treatments right up to the very end. She never complained about her own pains and she always cared for everyone she loved.
Cremation has taken place. A celebration of Brigitte’s life will be held at Brigitte and Bob’s home, 10 West William Street, Seaforth on Friday, October 7th from 2 – 8 PM. Arrangements entrusted to Haskett Funeral Home, Seaforth (519-527-1390).
Donations to the Heart and Stroke Foundation would be appreciated by the family.
