Suddenly, at Queensway Nursing Home, Hensall on Sunday, June 24, 2007 Charles (Charlie) Atthill formerly of Exeter in his 74th year. Beloved husband of Mavis (McBride) Atthill. Dear father of Steven and Eda Atthill of Thamesford, David and Dolly Atthill of Exeter and Brent Atthill and Deb Manders of Waukesha, Wisconsin. Dear grandfather of Eric, Shawn and Marisa; and Tess and Brenna. Dear brother and brother-in-law of Bernie Laffrenere of Algoma Mills, Ilyne Muscroft of St. Albert. Alberta, Norris and Marjorie Atthill of St. Marys and Tom Atthill of North Bay. Predeceased by sisters Ina French and Joan Massicotte and brothers-in-law Larry Laffrenere and Walter Muscroft. Friends may call at the Haskett Funeral Home, 370 William Street, 1 west of Main, Exeter on Tuesday 2-4 and 7-9 PM where the funeral service will be held on Wednesday, June 27th at 11 AM with Rev. Sheila Macgregor officiating. Interment Exeter Cemetery. Donations to the Alzheimer Society, Exeter United Church or the charity of your choice would be appreciated by the family. There will be an Oddfellows Service in the funeral home on Tuesday evening at 6:30 PM.
