In his 80th year, Reginald Edward Chappel passed away suddenly at his home on Sunday, February 24, 2019. Loving husband to Nadine (McIntyre). Beloved father of Ruth (John) Feeney, Ed (Cathy) Chappel, and Debra (Calvin) Stanlake. Dear grandfather to Kelly (Andrew) Wharton, Amber Feeney, Kyle Feeney, Jason Chappel, Cory (Amelia) Chappel, Tom (Marlee) Preszcator and Josh Stanlake. Loving great-grandfather to Taylor, Bo, Lauren Wharton, Charlie Brown and Owen Chappel. Loving brother and brother-in-law to Adeline (Dave) McInally, Brian Chappel, Fred and Carol McIntyre. Predeceased by his parents Ed and Doreen (Varley) Chappel, step-son Ken McIntyre, sister-in-law Edna Chappel, sister-in-law Wilma Powell, brother-in-law Stan McIntyre, and niece Sandra (McInally) Melady. Reg enjoyed and loved trucking and will be greatly missed by all his family and friends.
Visitation will be held at the Haskett Funeral Home, 370 William Street, EXETER on Thursday, February 28th from 9:30 – 10:30 AM where the funeral service will be held at 11 AM. Spring interment Staffa Cemetery.
Donations in honour of Reg can be made to the Ronald McDonald House or the Canadian Cancer Society.
We are so very sorry for the sudden loss of Reg, he will be greatly missed. Our sincere condolences to Nadine and the rest of his family .
