    Jim, Steve, Wayne and Families,
Please accept my sincerest condolences on the loss of Lyle. He was a wonderful man, who always had time for a conversation when you saw him. He always had a story to share when you saw him, much of which was about his lovely family, and he always spoke highly and was extremely proud of all of you. Many of my childhood memories have some part of both your parents in them. Lyle would always have a trunk full of clothes for my sister and I from visiting Uncle Ross and his family and he always got a kick out of watching us riffle through the bags and having a fashion show while he visited with my parents. Lyle was a great man and will be thought of often. I will miss his smirk and shake of the head. He was one of a kind. Thinking of you all at this difficult time.

Our condolences to the Carter family on the passing of Lyle. Lyle was a prominent figure at Murphy Bus Lines over the years either stopping in often to chat about business and life or calling on the phone. He loved to talk about his family and how proud he was of all his grandchildren. Lyle also was connected to my husband, Jason through hockey and loved to chit chat about the hockey world. He always looked after me every winter and ensured I had the correct winter tires on my car. We will miss his friendship and his great sense of humour.
