Posted By Haskett Funeral Homes On April 24, 2024 @ 2:37 PM In Exeter,Obituary | 66 Comments
With family by his side at the South Huron Hospital, Exeter on Wednesday, April 24, 2024 Bev of Exeter passed away peacefully at the age of 85. Loving husband of Margaret (Coward) Brintnell. Devoted father of Kerry-Sue and Mark Abela of Cambridge and Bill and Karen Brintnell of Exeter. Proud grandfather of Zach of Exeter and Cait of Ottawa. Dear brother of Margaret Curtis of London. Fondly remembered by Marg’s family and many nieces and nephews. Predeceased by his parents James and Lois (Simpson) Brintnell and a brother Russ Brintnell.
Visitation will be held at the Haskett Funeral Home, 456 Main Street South, EXETER on Saturday, April 27th from 3 – 6 PM. Cremation with a private family interment will be held at a later date.
Bev was proud to serve with the Ontario Provincial Police for 30 years. One of Bev’s greatest pleasures was dancing with his wife Marg. In honour of Bev donations to the South Huron Hospital Foundation, or alternatively, spending an hour enjoying one of life’s simple pleasures would be appreciated by the family.
Sorry to hear of your loss. Thoughts and prayers are with you all.

My respects and condolences to the Brintnell Family. I worked with Bev at 3 Dist. Burlington, he was a senior officer and someone I respected and looked up to. One of my favorite memories was riding double with him and asking him, what’s with the country music and I was immediately told this is the only music we listen to in this car. My reply was, yes Sir and I become a listener of C & W,. I will always remember my time with Bev.

Sorry I’m late with this, and I can tell you I was sorry to read of Bev’s death.
We stood up for each other in our weddings, and then grew apart, but I shall always remember the great times we all had in our younger days, esp remembering the turquoise pants of years ago.

I worked with bev at bradford in late 71 & then transfered n to shabaqua. A short time later I was back for court & my wife gail & I were at your house for a party. All the coats were piled on the bedroom bed & gail noted that your marriage lic. was posted over the headboard. She has always thought how wonderfully nice that was. Stay happy and safe.
