Peacefully at Queensway Nursing Home, Hensall on Tuesday, October 18, 2022 of Hensall and formerly of St. Marys at the age of 64. Dear brother of Bill and Reba Boyd of B.C. Proud uncle of Brianne Boyd (Neil Peterson) and Carrissa Boyd (Tyler Norton) and great-uncle to Jasper and Bea; and Bryn. Fondly remembered by his aunt and uncle Rhona (Vanstone) and Bill Thistle and many cousins. Predeceased by his parents John and Margaret (Vanstone) Boyd.
Cremation has taken place and a private family celebration of Jack’s life will be held at a later date. Haskett Funeral Home, EXETER entrusted with arrangements.
In lieu of flowers donations to the Muscular Dystrophy Canada or Ontario SPCA and Humane Society would be appreciated by the family.

I hope it’s okay to say but in caring for Jack in the past few years I think Jack looked forward to the heavenly journey where all the music he wants to hear will fill his heart and ears forever more. RIP Jack, sing with the angels.

Years ago, I met Jack when he lived in Exeter and I had the privilege to be his PSW up until he went to hospital then Queensway.
Jack was very easy going.

Once a month when I drive through St Mary’s, I think of Jack and those hot dogs from Hearn’s that he enjoyed.
