It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Henry (Harry) TJ Bond at LHSC – Victoria Hospital, surrounded by his loved ones, on Wednesday, January 11, 2023 of Ilderton, formerly of Lucan at the age of 78. He is the cherished husband of Judy (Scott) Bond for over 57 years. Proud and loving father of Jamie (Stephanie), and Jeff (Teresa). Adored grandfather of Jessica (Dave) Welsh, Ryan (Ali) Bond, Ethan, and Abbey Bond and great-grandfather of Blair, Beau, Luke, and Jake. Dear brother of Jean Porter. Harry will be sadly missed by the entire Scott family and many nieces and nephews. Predeceased by his siblings Ernie, Gladys, Sally, Marjorie, and Pat.
Harry was a dedicated trucker for M. Loeb for many years. He loved classic cars, country music, playing spoons and horse racing. Hank and Jude spent many years enjoying Lake Huron sunsets and travelling North America.
We wish to thank our family, friends and neighbours for their ongoing help and support through this difficult time.
Visitation will be held at Haskett Funeral Home, 223 Main Street, LUCAN on Sunday, January 15th from 11 – 12:30, where the funeral service will be held at 1 PM. Interment St. James Cemetery at a later date.

Judy, Jeff and Jamie, so very sorry to hear of Harry’s passing. We recall many events in Lucan where we’d finish the evening at whoever’s house where Harry would entertain playing his spoons. The hockey tournaments we’d attend for the weekend. Seemed wherever Harry was, a party would break out. He had such a zest for life. OK, I know we were younger then but that’s how we want to remember him. Great times, great memories, great guy.

Dear Judy, Jeff and Jamie,
Harry (Mr. Bond) made a huge impression on me as a little boy growing up on Albert Street. I have so many fond memories of Christmas Eve at your house, late summer evenings on the back patios and looking for Puffy and Dad only to find them with Harry in your backyard. As a 5 year old, I thought Mr. Bond was the coolest when he rolled up in his big truck and I desperately wished he would let me sit in the drivers seat. Harry’s sneaky squint and sly school boy laugh, made you feel you were sharing a special moment, just you and him. It didn’t matter whether you were 2 or 82, he had a way to connect with everyone.
Harry will be sorely missed by us all. We very much wish we could be with you to say goodbye. I have it on good authority that some Welsh Cakes are on their way along with my Mom, Dad, Joanne and John.
Here’s to Harry, may he live in our hearts until we meet again.
