We were so saddened to hear of Bob&&single&&s passing. He was a true friend to my Dad, George, especially when my mother had to move downstairs to the nursing floor, leaving my Dad alone for the first time in 68 years. They became neighbours at that time and Bob took Dad under his wing. I was always very appreciative of that. You must all be very proud of the wonderful man that he was.

    To all the McLachlan Family:
I am so sorry that I am not able to be with you to express my condolences in person. However, I am sure none of you want to get the very nasty bug that I have at the moment.
Bob was always such a joy every time I was fortunate enough to see him. I will never forget that twinkle in his eyes and that great big smile each time I gave him a hug and said “Well, hello handsome, how are you today?” He had a good long life but will be sadly missed by everyone.
Steve always enjoyed visiting with your Dad/Grandpa and will certainly miss the visits and the many gab sessions they had together. He sends his thoughts and blessings to all of you from Israel.
We will keep all of you in our warmest thoughts and prayers.
    Sending love and hugs,
    Ruth
