At Countryside Manor, Coldstream on Wednesday, August 29, 2012 of Ilderton in her 80th year. Beloved wife of the late William H. (Wally) Hartman (2001). Dear mother of Jeff and Shelley Hartman of Ilderton. Dear grandmother of Adam and Meghan, and Meghann. Dear sister and sister-in-law of Louise and Ed O’Neill of Westlock, Alberta.
Friends may call at the Haskett Funeral Home, 223 Main Street, Lucan one hour prior to the memorial service, which will be held on Friday, August 31st at 2 PM. Cremation with interment Littlewood Cemetery, Middlesex Centre.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to Countryside Manor, Coldstream (24264 Coldstream Road, RR 2 Ilderton ON N0M 2A0).

It was my privilege to work with Betty for several years at London Life during the 1980s. We worked well together, based on mutual respect and appreciation. I remember Betty as a wonderful lady who was demanding but fair and had a great sense of humor that kept her grounded in reality. My condolences to Betty’s family.

So sorry to hear about Betty.
Our girls use to look forward to seeing “Meghann’s grandma”, sitting at the restaurant on the weekends, as she use to sneak a quarter in their hands and tell them to go and get candy at the store. Although she hasn’t been there in quite some time, she is remembered fondly. Take Care.

Betty loved to share wonderful stories about her family, and the pride she had for them . Her love for you always shined through.
I worked with Betty years ago at London Life Insurance Company. We worked on many projects together and enjoyed numerous lunches together. Ours was a working relationship, but Betty always knew how to put some fun into what we did. She helped create lasting memories and that is what life is all about.
Sorry to hear that Betty has passed on. I remember her well and I can still hear her wonderful laugh.
