It is with great sadness, the family announces the passing of Betty Ann Martin (nee Lewis) of Petrolia and formerly of Hanover and Lucan, at St. Joseph’s Hospice, Sarnia on Tuesday, October 16, 2012, in her 65th year. Beloved wife of the late Donald Martin (2009). Dear mother of Carman and Bonnie Martin of Point Clark & Dave and Janie Martin of Petrolia. Dear grandmother of Stacey and Tyler, Amanda, Brooke, Blane; Tim and Melisa, Greg and Tina. She will be missed by her great-grandchildren Olivia, Mackenzie, Dylan, Alex, Cole, Alli and Madison. Dear sister and sister in-law of Doug and Diane Lewis of London, Joan and Bob Finkbeiner of Clandeboye, Brenda and Fred Smith of Lucan and Dan and Michaelina Rodgers of Clandeboye. Betty Ann will be missed by her nieces, nephews, dear friend Bernice Rotteau and by the Martin Family. Betty Ann is predeceased by her parents, Arnold and Elsie Lewis, and sister Helen Rodgers.
Family and friends will be received at the Haskett Funeral Home, 223 Main Street, Lucan on Thursday 11:00 AM – 12:30 PM where the funeral service will be held on Thursday at 1:00 PM with Rev’d Father Daniel Bowyer officiating. Interment St. James Cemetery, Clandeboye.
In lieu of flowers, donations to St Joseph’s Hospice, 475 Christina Street North, Sarnia ON N7T 5W3 would be appreciated by the family.
