Passed away peacefully with her family by her side at Queensway Long Term Care, Hensall on Thursday, September 28, 2023 at the age of 82.
Betty was the youngest of four children born to Helen (Prosser) and Richard Browne. She was the loving wife of Kenneth Berwick for 62 years.
Betty is survived by her husband Ken, children Mitchell (Nancy), Jill, and Gwen (Mike) Telford, four grandchildren, Jamie and Jennifer Miller; and Faith and Cameron Telford, two great grandchildren, James, and Clayton Behie, her sister Joan (Coakley), and by her many nieces and nephews. Betty is predeceased by her parents, her sister Helen (Clanfield) and her brother Richard.
Betty’s bright eyes and cheery smile will be missed by all who knew her. She will be singing and dancing with her Lord and Saviour in heaven.
The family would like to thank the staff and caregivers at Queensway Long-Term Care and Retirement Community for their care, compassion, and kindness.
Cremation has taken place. A private family service will be held at a later date. Arrangements entrusted to Haskett Funeral Homes, Exeter (519-235-1220)
Donations to a charity of your choice would be appreciated by the family.

Dear Ken and family,
So sorry to hear of Bettys passing away ,she always had a wonderful smile.
Betty had been of friend of mine since attending church in Goderich. She was always a very kind and fun loving lady. She was also my mom’s roommate at Queensway. She was the perfect roommate for my mom (Viv) and it was always nice to see Betty. My sincere condolences to the family. Ken, you loved Betty well and your I know she loved you too! She sure will be singing and dancing in heaven!

My deepest condolences to Uncle Ken, Mitchell, Jill and Gwen and your families. I am so very sorry about the loss of Aunt Betty. She will be joining many waiting with open arms for her in heaven. I hope you all can hold on to her memory with joy in your hearts that you had her in your lives. She was truly a special person to many and will be missed by all who know her.
